Milton Optimist Club @ Steam Era 2009

In this the 49th year of the Labour Day weekend Milton Steam Era, the Optimist Club of Milton was on-site with our Chip Wagon, raising funds to help with our community-based children’s projects and our support of Milton District Hospital. Here are a few photo’s from the day:

On this site, I’ll be showing slices of life in Southern Ontario, as seen through the lenses of my cameras. I am a 30+ year resident of the Milton area, and recently re-ignited my passion for photography, mostly due to becoming a full-time ‘hockey-Dad’ and ‘baseball-Dad’.

The picture in the banner of this site is an example of the things that catch my eye; it is the Millpond in Milton, taken in the Fall of 2008, and inspired by a similar picture my Dad took back in the 1970’s.
